Turn Your Home into Smart Home to Sell Faster

Turn your home into a Smart Home before listing it for sale. It will definitely make it memorable for the potential buyers! It's not just the millennials and Gen Ys that want Smart Home technology, although they are the largest demographic desiring a home with technology, its almost EVERY generation! Even Baby Boomers are looking for more convenience in their lives. After all, they are the generation that "invented" the computer!

  1. Connecting devices to your smart phone can save energy, money, and time. There are four categories of smart devices:

  2. Utilities - Thermostat, light bulbs, sprinkler, electrical outlet, ceiling fan, stove, washer and dryer, powered window shades, etc.

  3. Safety - Wireless key entry, doorbell, garage door, outdoor lighting, etc.

  4. Security - Burglar alarm, smoke alarm, carbon monoxide detector, or any sensor that triggers a call for emergency assistance.

  5. Audio / Visual - Personal assistant such as Alexa or Siri, TVs, music, etc.

Investing in a variety of devices is easier today than ever before. Even the big box home improvement stores carry a plethora of smart home devices, such as Home Depot and Lowes. Amazon also carries a lot of devices compatible with their Echo series, at very affordable prices. With today’s technology available to consumers, it can be pretty easy to get started. Setting your home up with Smart Home devices can be a great marketing tool, and make your home stand out, without too much out of pocket.
